Shimmy Armageddon is a belly dance troupe formed by the ladies of Black Pig Border Morris in 2005. We dance a fusion of Middle Eastern, Spanish. Modern and Tribal styles to both traditional and modern tunes and we have performed all over the UK at Festivals, Haflas and Bike Rally's.
For the past couple of years we have been fundraising for our chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support by way of running the Purple Hafla Belly Dance party nights. Our latest one, The Big Purple People Party held in May this year was a roaring success and we raised a total of £970.00. for this worthy cause.

We dance with various props including: ISIS WINGS , ZILLS, VEILS, CANES, STICKS, CANDLES AND SWORDS.
